The deer mouse is a cute little creature with its big ears and bright, bulging eyes, but in your home the cute little fella can be quite the health hazard.Deer mouse droppings have been associated with a sometimes fatal illness in humans called hantavirus. Never vacuum or sweep mouse droppings; thoroughly wet the area with a disinfectant, then carefully wipe up the droppings with a wet cloth.
